Le Polish- 12 Days of Polish Day 1 “A Stroll in the Snow”

Hello friends!!

I have something super exciting for you today!! Allison, the maker of Le Polish has come up with something super exciting for us!! She has chosen 12 bloggers and worked with them to create 12 different polishes which we will be presenting one by one in the following days.

I have the immense honor of debuting this project! I’m super excited! But, can we talk about the super cute packaging first?lol It’s just so lovely! Such a gift! and I’m also digging that vintage looking card! love the little details!

The picture at the bottom is what I sent Allison as my inspiration, found it on Pinterest and I guess it was a popular pic because I was told later that it had been suggested in a couple of groups (which I was not a member of believe it or not, I thought I was in all the polish groups!).

I really loved the contrast of light, the grays, the light mauves, the gold… warm and cold at the same time. It seemed to personify winter and a nice peaceful walk on a chilly day. So, I of course had to name it “A stroll in the snow” how could I not? that’s what the picture meant to me. I personally feel like Allison nailed it.

A white crelly with gold and pink shimmer and dark maroon tinted flakies. Just beautiful.

The formula is quite good actually, we all know how tricky white crellies can be but it is not the case with this guy. I did three thin coats for this guy. I think a better not so thin not so thick second coat would be enough for this baby though. It has really good coverage and the formula glides on the nail like butter on hot bread.

And here it is with a matte top coat.. cause you know I am a crazy matter.

For nail art I of course stamped some snowflakes on this bad boy, I had to do it in black bc white weren’t noticeable so I stamped first with large black snowflakes and later with tiny silver snowflakes both images from MoYou London Festive Plate. Hope you like it!!
