Hello friends!!
How are you?? I’m sure you’ve heard by now that Pantone’s color of the year are the ever so classic “baby” blue and pink, at first I wasn’t impressed at all with this choice since it is so classic but I can definitely see the potential in this as I’m sure many of the talented indie polish magicians will come up with awesome ideas for these colors. Today I want to show you ellagee’s beautiful take on this duo.
Is an ever so soft slightly greyed rosy pink with a touch of pink shimmer, inspired by Pantone’s color of the year, Rose Quartz. Very pretty, very soft, the shimmer is a lot more visible in real life. The formula was super easy you see 2 coats plus one coat of top coat. Drying time is 3-4 min in between coats.
For nail art I wanted something super soft so white stamping it is
Is a pretty slightly greyed periwinkle/blue with a touch of blue shimmer, inspired by Pantone’s color of the year, Serenity. Again, the twinkle was a lot more visible in real life so sad the lights killed it on the pics. The formula was easy to work with, you see two coats plus one coat of top coat.
For nail art I did a saran wrap marble (haven’t done this in a long time) and accented with a couple of rhinestones
What do you think? I really like these, the added shimmer gives them such a beautiful touch and of course formula is awesome as usual from this brand. If you like these definitely pick them up!
The Color of the Year duo will be available Saturday 1/23/16 at 3PM central.
Available in full size 15ml bottles and they retail at $10.50USD and the duo for $18.90USD plus shipping.
Top Coat used is Glass also by ellagee and retails at $7USD plus shipping
