ellagee- Choose, You Must Duo

Eeeeeeekkkkkkk, sorry.. I had to get that out before I even started writing this post. How often does a girl get to unite her two absolute passions and obsessions? Not too often!! When ellagee asked me to swatch her new Star Wars inspired “Choose, You Must” duo I was like.. you had me at “sta…”! So awesome to be able to swatch for this brand again. I’m seriously loving it! I’ll stop the drooling and geeking out and get right to the pretties!!

The Force is Strong With This One

Is a clear base with metallic and holo glitter in Jedi shades of green, blue, and purple with holo microglitter in black and silver as described by maker. You see it here by itself with one normal coat + one sponged coat topped with Glass (ellagee’s very own fast drying top coat)

And here it is in one coat over black and white.

And here it is up close over black around the cuticle, over white in the middle and by itself at the tip.

Fear Is The Path To The Dark Side

Is a clear base with metallic and holo glitter in Sith shades of red, magenta and orange with holo microglitter in black and silver as described by the maker. Love the “Sith” part hehe.. You see it here by itself in one normal + one sponged coat and topped with Glass

And here is one coat over both black and white topped with glass.

And here you have it by itself at the tip, over black in the middle and over white at the tip.

The formula is on the thick side without being hard to work with or unmanageable. It is in fact pretty easy to work with as there is no need to move around glitters. It dries a bit gritty but a good coat of top coat takes care of that right away. Both glitters are gorgeous!! the mix of colors in them is absolutely perfect! I love them both and I really like the fact that they cover so well. Perfect consistency IMHO.
