Hello friends!!
I gotz more Pretty & Polished babies to show you!! October 1st is such an awesome day over at P&P as it is adding three new collections to their shop. This time I have the pleasure of showing you four of the five polishes from the Halloween Collection inspired by Wes Craven (R.I.P), the fifth color will be kept a surprise but will also be available for purchase on launch day, is there anything more Halloween than mystery? I think not!! Let’s get to the pretties!
Surprise Sydney (inspired by the movie Scream 1996)- a white crellie base filled with different size diamond, circle hex in black. Chels absolutely nails crellies always making them super easy to work with, you see two coats plus top coat in the pics.
My nail art for this is super simple, we all know how what happened to the scream kids so when I saw MannasManis post a throw back of an old bloody mani I knew I had to try it out. So this is my first attempt at the straw/splatter technique
***********
Keeping up with the Carters ( inspired by the movie The Hills Have Eyes 1977)- is a purple base crellie with medium orange round glitter and tiny little orange hex glitter. I have never seen this movie because it looks super scary and I am not a fan of pooping my pants 😀 . Two extremely easy coats plus top coat in the pics
For nail art I decided to go with a simple stamped bat gradient over a sponged gradient in orange and black

The Last Polish on the Left ( inspired by the movie Last House on the Left 1972)- is a thermal crellie filled with medium and small hex glitters, goes from a light juicy red (warm) to a black (cold), this emulates blood perfectly! I also have not seen this movie either, I’m a bit of a chicken I guess. Two coats plus top coat in the pics.
While polishing all I kept thinking was “omg this is gorgeous blood” so I went for a dripping blood effect for my nail art.

Welcome to my Nightmare (inspired by the movie Nightmare on Elm Street 1984)- OMG Freddy Krueger was my obsession!! I watched all of these when I was young and they are really the last “scary movies” I saw. This thermal is absolutely perfect!! it is a dirty murky green filled with tiny gold and red glitters that turns black when cold. Perfection!
For nail art for this baby I created a creepy cementary scene. Hope you like it!
So what do I think of this collection?! It is absolutely awesome! LOVE the thermals and the crellies, loved the formulas, loved the inspiration. Love love love, so if you like any of these don’t think twice about picking them up!
Thank you so much for reading!

Thank you hob! Another thing we have in common!
I’m not a fan of scary movies either! It might have something to do with the fact that I was watch Candyman when I was 7. Lol. But I do love Nightmare On Elm Street. These polishes reflect the movies so well!
Omg yes candyman might have been one of those movies that made me realize the genre wasnt for me
